Observer
Name Gwendylon T
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I've seen shooting stars several times over my lifetime, but this was the most incredible, most vivid sighting I've ever experienced! I couldn't get a picture because there was a street light and a tree that precluded a clear picture.

Remarks I heard what seemed to me a huge fire burning. I looked toward the sound and saw a huge, black ball with what looked like cracks in it through which I could see fire on the inside. The tail was pure fire with smaller black particles in it. As the ball began to burn out, the tail became like a smoky fish tail. I watched it until I couldn't see it anymore, but never saw it descend. It stayed high for as long as I could see it.
