Reports Report 2589j (Event 2589-2013)

Observer
Name Martin G
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It started as green, then white, then blue. It was so bright i could still see it if I closed my eyes after. The closest thing I can describe it to is like a lightning bolt in slow motion but it didn't extend all the way up (there were no clouds) but it seemed very close to me (within 1/2 mile) and seemed to flash blue and burn up shortly before hitting the ground. I was in my car with the radio on so I didn't hear anything. Probably one of the very coolest things I've ever seen.

Remarks It was a long white trail almost like a short lightning bolt, no single flash incident, but rather a long slender brilliantly white trail. Then at the end I saw a blue color that looked like it broke into pieces
