Reports Report 6291aa (Event 6291-2024)

Observer
Name Julie C
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks This was seen by 2 other people and all agree that while it looked a bit similar to a flare, it was too high and distant and with a straighter and faster downward trajectory to have actually been a flare or something that was likely to have originated from ground-level. It was a bright ball with an orange tail, appeared suddenly, seemed to get bigger/brighter as it traveled closer, and lasted only a couple seconds before disappearing.
