Reports Report 6358b (Event 6358-2024)

Observer
Name Eduardo S
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I was visiting my local observatory for the first time. We had seen many faint shooting starts throughout the night. When I saw this fireball, I was laying on my back on the ground with my camera pointed towards Andromeda. At that moment, I was looking straight up just admiring the sky looking towards Cassiopeia when my fiancee and I both spotted. It flew by between the vicinity of Hercules and Cassiopeia. It lasted maybe 2-3 seconds and left a bluish white (more blue) trail that quickly disappeared. We grabbed one of the astronomers in the observatory immediately and they suggested it might have been a meteor burning up.
