As I said in my statement I misspoke it happened on the 3rd of October not the 5th. I just know that it took me by suprise and couldn't believe how bright the yard got . Never seen anything like this. Figured it could be space junk or a meteor. But wasn't like anything else shooting star wise I ever seen before

I know it streaked across the sky. Lit up the yard and the trees on the other side of the road. It got brighter and split into at least 3-4 pieces before disappearing. As I'm telling this thinking back I said it was the 5th it was about the 3rd of October
