| Remarks | At 5:49am I was putting away my telescope after a beautiful clear sky. I did not see the fireball, but I have seen many in my life. The bright flash startled me as I knew it could not be lightning, was it a helicopter search light (we did have that a couple days before)? As soon as I saw the burn trail in the sky, I knew I had just missed a great fireball. I grabbed a pen and logged my observation till I could report in the morning. Still, what a great way to end an imaging session. |
