Reports Report 5542d (Event 5542-2024)

Observer
Name Jered K
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks We were in the middle of the desert and the nearest town 30 miles away has 200 people. It seemed incredibly low and was bright enough to actually light up the area around us. Not quite a sunny day but well enough to see. I'm on my cell and wasn't sure exactly what to rate the brightness. It seemed incredibly close and felt like I could see flames that were a lot larger than the object. I've spent a lot of time observing and never seen anything 1% as bright. I wish we weren't so remote so others could have seen it. The time is approximate, I didn't have my phone and it was dark but not really late.
