| Remarks | Security camera videos, looking South East from Winnipeg. The sky was very clear. After seeing reports from Chris R in Libau, MB and from Superior, Wisconsin, I checked security camera footage, and found 2 cameras had recorded the meteor. The first camera has a slightly better angle, the second camera has a better resolution. Unfortunately due to the location of both cameras, both the start and the end of the meteor path are cropped (by the camera frame at the top and roof of the apartment building at the bottom). Both videos themselves are cropped to 1920x1080. The bright star in the Southeast sky is Sirius. This meteor was very bright! |
