| Remarks | I was photographing the Milky Way in the opposite direction, the light was bright enough to make me turn around. I’ve seen many fireballs, but never one that did not appear to move across the sky. The smoke left behind was also the most visible I can remember seeing at night. Would really love to know more about this event! |

| Remarks | The fireball didn’t move from my perspective, but it lit everything almost as bright as day. It left a smoke trail (a blob, since it wasn’t moving across the sky, but appeared to be coming right toward my location) that remained visible. I captured a poor, out of focus iPhone photo of the smoke. |

| Remarks | First the light lit the rock in front of me so brightly I had time to turn around and see the terminal flash, which was even brighter. |
