When I first saw the red light it seemed to be sitting still hovering it was a red light like a star but red and much closer it then traveled to my left southern direction it went slightly upward the tail was in view it was like the tail of a comic and the red ball went dark and the tail within 3 seconds disappeared too. I'm not sure what I seen. We are currently in the midst of the bridge fire with air drops over the national forest. And its the high desert we often see testing of different air vehicles periodically. It didn't look like a rocket. I've seen fireballs before but never a red one.
