Experience Level 2/5
Remarks We were way up in the mountains when we saw this fireball, it was so bright it lit up the whole night sky like it was daylight. It was as big as a full moon in the sky. It reminded me of a mortar or even a flare as it fell. We first saw it above us and it fell down towards the horizon where it disappeared behind the timberline shadow and then the sky got dark again. It was a beautiful bluish-green color with almost a yellow-green center and a long trail behind it.
