I was out in our huge open field and was bent over fixing a string of solar lighting, I noticed the ground lighting up like a huge Welding arc and noticed my shadow quickly moving, as the field lit up like daylight. I was already facing its direction, and as the field suddenly lit up I looked up toward the brightness expecting it to be a spotlight coming from the road slightly above my elevation or a quiet helicopter coming over tree line with a spotlight, since we're in local airports flight paths. As I looked up my eyes were drawn to the large very bright moving fireball falling almost straight down in my field of view, I instantly knew what I was seeing as it fell towards the horizon tree line I was looking at the tree tops lit up like it was almost daylight, it fell for few seconds as it disappeared behind the trees in the southeast sky. I stayed there for few minutes to listen for anything odd or to see if the horizon lit after it hit ground. |
