| Remarks | It looked like it had colorful flames with the bright white orb. It seemed huge!! It burned out just as it hit the horizon. We were in the desert, so no city lights, which maybe made it brighter. My friend made this screenshot from an app-I may not have gotten our location exactly right on the map. We were backpacking: 183 degrees South, 44*26'46"N. 121*20'47"W. Culver Oregon, 2230 ft elevation. We would love to find out where it actually was/how far from us. |
