Reports Report 5425a (Event 5425-2024)

Observer
Name Phil S
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks This photo was taken by an unattended camera with a roughly 150 deg FOV that faces straight up. North is at the top of the photo. The camera taxes 1 pic/minute with an approx 30 second exposure so the meteor had to be rather bright since it's brighter than all the stars visible but it had a much shorter exposure than they did. By changing the levels you can identify several stars suitable for triangulation. The bright spot at the left is the moon and the object at the lower left is the top of my telescope dome.
