Reports Report 5420c (Event 5420-2024)

Observer
Name Judy W
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It appeared so low but traveling at such high rate of speed. It seemed to burn out in the middle of the road yet I know it was or had to be above the tree line as I could see the horizon in the background. Very close to the sighting- I would say 50-75 yarda.

Remarks The trail seemed lighter in color and not as many colors in the tail. It seemed to be “burning out at a high rate of speed and disappeared just above the tree line as I was driving down the road. It looked as though the fireball and tail both could be seen just above the tree line against the horizon and I could see it above the road I was traveling. They disappeared within 5 seconds of each other.
