| Remarks | This is the third one I have seen in as many years, as improbable as that sounds. This one wasn't as spectacular as the last one I saw, but still thrilling. I thought it was an airplane at first, then it became the size and brightness of Venus, and then it briefly flared much larger and brighter and left a small tail, at which point I knew it was a fireball. |
