I do photography and photojournalism as a career. This was taken during a solar storm and this was widely photographed in Minnesota. It happened right in front of the northern lights when there was a lot of photographers out. A friend of mine captured video of it on her cell phone so I was referencing that for accuracy. I saw a few other meteors that night including one that left a blue trail. But it happened just as I was setting up my tripod around 2:30am CDT.

Remarks
A fragment seemed to break off at the tail end before it disappeared. I’m using a video a friend took and posted for reference.
