Reports Report 5133ba (Event 5133-2024)

Observer
Name Marilyn E
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks The tail was very wide (about 5 deg) trailing behind; tail was partitioned into two parts brightly glowing with dark central portion; fireball was very bright, small pinpoint like with unusual shape (not round or regular); tail lingered in sky for many minutes after the meteor disappeared below the northeastern horizon. I have never seen a meteor like this one before. Spectacular.
