It occurred near Jupiter and I recall the fireball being 2-3x size and brightness of Jupiter

The meteor/object suddenly broke into many bright fragments approaching its terminal. The fragments looked more yellow/orange and disappeared quickly. The trajectory of the fragments were a little different from the meteor/object, a bit more downward.
