Reports Report 4706h (Event 4706-2024)

Observer
Name William K
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was driving south on I91 in Rocky Hill. Meteor entered field of vision through the top of my windshield, and continued almost to the visible horizon. It left a persistent trail (full trail was perceptible until the incident ended) that was a light blue green color. It was oriented very slightly right to left in my field of view, not quite paralleling the highway. Time indicated should be accurate to 1 or 2 minutes (based on vehicle clock) but direction would be variable as it is based on my own perception and recollection of my exact location on the highway. While the meteor did not appear to explode it did seem to pulsate or flash once or twice just as it vanished and the trail appeared to get wider as it traveled towards the horizon.
