Reports Report 3970d (Event 3970-2024)

Observer
Name Christopher D
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It hung light a small half moon. Crescent presentation. It’s tail only appeared a few moments before it disappeared completely, leaving only dark sky where it had been... No visible fragmentations. We thought it was a light from a house on a hill at first. But, as we drove towards it, we realized it was above the skyline. It was so large, it looked like a small planet until it’s tail appeared. I’m other words, it looked stationary for the majority of the time. Seeing the tail only led us to believe that it was on a pretty straight path to where we saw it from.
