Remarks | I was driving when I saw it. It entered my field of vision when it passed directly over my car and could be seen through the dead center of my windsheild. Had the rounded "head" and tapering tail, similar to a tadpole. Too large and near the ground to be the typical "shooting star" that seem to be higher in the sky, thinner and whiter. Had a yellow glow. Traveled northish in front of my car for about 3 seconds, inclined towards the ground (falling) for about 3 seconds, then just turned off like a light. Just gone. Poof. No sound (unless I couldn't hear it over my radio), no boom, no visible explosion. |
