Reports Report 3551dt (Event 3551-2024)

Observer
Name Michael P
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It bursted into a red/orange ball and dropping altitude for less than half a second. Then it bursted into a blue and white stream, 7x longer than the beginning trail. Brighter and brighter. Then right above the tree line of my neighbors house, clear as day; bursted into a huge blue and white light and saw stardust dissappear into the abyss of the night sky. This trail and ending was about a second. The entire thing was about over a second and before 2 seconds. Honestly, I've seen a lot of stuff but this is the first, amazing and horrific feeling I've had looking at this. I believe it was a small meteor, maybe not a fireball itself. Either way, f-ing awesome.
