| Remarks | I live near a military base. At first I thought it was a jet flying over, at the flash, for a second my heart stopped, I imagined a plain had exploded. Quickly realized it was a meteorological event. The tail was much much larger than a con trail which is not generally visible at night. . I yelled out, did you see that. One other person had also seen it. I have seen many “shooting stars” I have never seen a flash that big!! The tail was white, the flash was very bright green and huge. |
