Probably 12 to 15 seconds, didn't grab my phone, got my father in law instead. He made it for the tail end then the trees obstructed the view. Thought co.et at first, then maybe a fire plane crash. Googled fireball over Fresno but nothing tho it had only been minutes at this point. Oddly there was an aircraft that followed the same flight plan about 10 to 15 minutes later. That I did video but it's shaky . Then a loud deep rumble. To be fair I have heard a rumble since, but not as loud or deep. I'm at an Airbnb and from Iowa. I live in a small town, forest city, and live on the outskirts. My view of the sky is pretty great there and see lots of falling g stats, and satalites and even a strimg if 13 starlings one night. Never anything like this! Awesome! Tho I did also spend 3 hours recently viewing Northern lights in my own. Back yard...hard to beat! Great pics of that! As gar the the other aircraft, probably easily explained. It's just the timing and path seemed super strange. We are close to the Fresno airport. Like I said, I live in a small town. 2 hours north of des moines, 2 hours south of Minneapolis, 4 hours from Omaha and 5 or so from Chicago. Planes fly over my ace all day. No lime this tho. Anyway, I'd like to hear if anyone else saw it and see their pics and videos. Sad I didn't grad my camera but happy I grabbed dad in law. Ease keep me posted! |
