Reports Report 3148e (Event 3148-2024)

Observer
Name Neil C
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I was in the garden looking at the clear sky and stars and I saw a bright meteor streak from directly south as my garden faces south. It headed north trailing bright sparks and blinked out directly above me. It lasted almost 10 seconds. It's the best one I've ever seen. I was expecting a boom it was so big but as I'm almost deaf I might not have heard anything anyway. But it was a significant sighting. I've seen many fast brief ones but this was a stayer and I tracked it easily for almost 10 seconds.
