| Remarks | I’ve seen Perseid showers before but this was incredibly big, lasting, and colorful compared to them. The movement lasted long enough that it had a curved path. The tail was green. The fireball appeared a little smaller than my thumbnail and the green tail was about 2 thumb lengths long. It did appear to be on fire, but there was no sound like I would expect from a plane crashing. I have also seen rocket launches. This was not the same at all. I saw it with the naked eye - I was out walking the dog and looking at the stars. |
