I thought it was a plane crashing at first. I am color blind so I can't be certain of colors. It appeared to be a Hollywood comet that was relatively close. Then the fire went out and I saw a bright light on the horizon that went out quickly. I assume that's when it landed. The color of the landing was like the chemical plant in Hopewell. That's my best comparison.

The fireball had petered out above and in front of me. Then a large light on the horizon in the same path. Not as bright as the trail though.
