A couple of very bright flashes in the sky drew my attention to look up and that’s when I saw the fireball or comet streaking across the sky with a tail behind it that looked like sparks. It only lasted for a few seconds before it went behind the hill.

Remarks
A couple of bright flashes is what caught me attention to look up and see the fire ball and tail. I’m in a River Valley so I only saw it for a few seconds before it went behind the top of the hill.
