Remarks I was traveling due west at 1am nearing Exit 73 in Tuscaloosa County, AL. It came into view from the north and crossed out of view to the south. It was very bright and had a shorter tail. I half expected to hear an explosion. Never seen anything like that so close before!

Remarks One large piece with relatively short, compact trail of fragments
