| Remarks | I have to stress that I spotted this (possible) meteor while walking out to my car after leaving work, and I was walking west through a brightly lit parking lot where the lights drown out even the brightest stars and planets. It must have been much brighter than Venus for me to see it so plainly. It definitely moved at the speed of the medium to slow meteors that I have observed regularly in the past, so I'm positive that it wasn't an aircraft. Since I couldn't see any background stars, even though the sky was fairly clear, the elevations that I reported when I first and last saw it are very rough. |
