I was on an astronomy observation trip in the Wedington Wildlife Management area where the dirt road crosses the Power Lines. Brightest meteor I've ever seen. It seemed very close with much detail. I did not see the meteor through my telescope. I did notice that the meteor first appeared above the constellation Corvus. I completed my normal astronomical report log when I got back home about 2330 gmt.
