Reports Report 2547ak (Event 2547-2024)

Observer
Name Shelby D
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks It was such a sudden and bright light from my left and only lasted for maybe 10/15 seconds, no time to pull out my phone while driving. It seemed so close that it wasn't even round as shown in so many pictures if you google fireballs or meteorites. It appeared as though it was blocky, like I could tell it had corners on it and while the majority of it was like a neon green. It definitely had some flames going behind it as you would expect from an object falling from the night sky. I think it had just slowed down and was close enough that it was no longer showing a super long trail or anything. I wish I could have seen where it landed, but I've read that they don't really create fires or anything since the rock is usually so cold.
