| Remarks | We were letting off Chinese lanterns in celebration of my 50th birthday. We wouldn't normally be out so late, but it was an occasion. We were camping with relatives, so we were up later than usual. Very cool sighting! |

| Remarks | Seemed like it lingered quite a while, but it could have been because it was so bright and the sky so dark, it was an illusion after staring at it. We thought it was fireworks at first, but then it just kept getting brighter and there was no typical BOOM afterwards. We also thought it might have been someone driving up with their headlights on, but there is no back road there. |
