Remarks It was the most remarkable thing I ever saw - We were camping and I had just stepped out to the clearing to look at the stars because it was such a clear night. My brother in law said he had seen a small meteor earlier in the evening (about 8:30?) and I was looking out into the night sky right where the initial flash of very bright light happened. It was blindingly bright, but made no sound. Then an extended straight trail of brilliant blue (with slight yellow/orange around the edges) stayed in the sky for at least 2 or 3 minutes before it started breaking up into a wiggly line. Most everyone at the campfire saw the entire burst and trail.
