| Remarks | My past experience was of meteor showers in Palm Desert around 1998.. I haven't seen shooting stars since then. What I saw tonight is different, was not like a shooting star which are brilliant white. But, what I saw tonight was a brilliant flash of medium color of blue, very long, somewhat wide, surrounded by white flame, with tale of red flame that shot from NE higher than planes in a rounded curve that dropped in the distance in the SE sky, all intact, until it disappeared. Somewhat similar to your picture, Pic 2 of 4 on your first page. I have a friend with me that saw this tonight at 8:03 pm, and describes the flying shooting flame as I do. It was not fire works. It was too high and too grand as high up as you can see with your eyes. I reported this to the local weather TV station. |
