Both myself and a friend, Eric D, saw the event simultaneously. We were driving down the road mentioned and saw the event through the windshield looking straight at it as it occured.

It broke up into at least two distinct pieces which were moving alongside each other but separating further away from each other a couple seconds from the end of seeing it before it burned out. And the smaller of the two appeared to explode. Faint hint of smoke trail could be seen glowing at that point and for at least two seconds before. And it had bright white / bright green white sparks. And yellow, orange and red flashes as it burned out.
