Reports Report 1211l (Event 1211-2024)

Observer
Name Charles L
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks Meteor lasted approximately 8-9 seconds total, starting near the Zodiac center. Field of view was completely clear to the horizon, allowing me to actually view it longer, due to the expanse/curvature of the earths atmosphere. It was slower moving, started vibrant green before intensifying momentarily before breaking up in to a chain, lower on the horizon at approximately 15-20 degrees south, southeast. Also, the break up no longer appeared green, but more yellow to white in nature, possibly due to the atmospheric conditions and distance from actual perspective.
