Name Ricardo C
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks This Morning 02 March 2024 , at 4:57 AM ( Midwest clock schedule from address of 36695 North Ridge Road ,Ingleside , Illinois, USA ) I was looking due East from my window , there was a meteor that broke apart going Due East ( about 3 degrees north of due East ) , It then broke apart into 25-30 pieces and stayed in a straight line, and was Bright as Pure white , it was at the upper reaches of the atmosphere since it did not lower into the atmosphere.. It kept the same Trajectory as following the Earths shape in the extreme upper reaches of our atmosphere. It lasted a full 3 miuntes until it passed below the Horizon and stayed in a straight line the whole occurrance of the event. Per your scale on your web page for Brightness, It was just as Bright as Venus but a little less than the full Moon. I hope this helps your research. Ricardo Ciccotosto
