Reports Report 884f (Event 884-2024)

Observer
Name Matthew M
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I've seen meteors explode at least 5 times. I've even seen one come right at me and explode well above me. That one didn't have a trail which made sense. But I've never seen anything like I saw last night. No tail and explosion of blue that produced a large circular blue cloud with bands of blue light that moved like one of those glass balls we had as kids that the electricity moved in the plasma to where ever you put your fingers.

Remarks One fuzzy orb followed by a smaller bright star looking spec. The much larger fuzzy yellow orb seemed to explode into a very large bright blue circular explosion. With large moving bands of bright Blue within the explosion radius. The front larger fuzzy orb exploded like that and seemed to take out the smaller bright star looking thing. The smaller one had no explosion. I watched both in the night sky for approx 20 seconds. Neither had any trail coming off of them. I've seen meteors and comets alot. I've never seen anything like this.
