A group of friends were outside of Grand Rapids Ohio with our telesscopes when we observed this meteor. It was low in the se and very bright. It lit up the ground like daylight for a second. The trail was visable for at least 30 seconds afterwards. Probably the brightest meteor we have ever seen. We listened for a "boom" but did not hear anything.
