Most impressive meteor I've seen in my 36 years. Probably 10x brighter than an ordinary meteor but what was most impressive was the chunks coming off of the meteor and the much longer than usual tail. The meteor never seemed to fizzle out, it crossed the sky from west to east and remained in view from horizon to horizon.
