I've seen shooting stars before but this thing lit up the sky. I had just made a highway heading west then I seen the sky light almost like a lightning strike then a looked up and it was parallel to the right of the highway. It was a bright streaking fireball then went over the hill top and it left a long streak behind it that slowly disapatied over approx. 15 to 20 seconds.
