| Remarks | I have never seen anything like this before. It was shocking. At first, my mother, who was with me, and I couldn't figure out if what we were seeing was an airplane crashing, a shooting star, or something else. We quickly realized it was a fireball when we pulled over to look. It was vivid and in a clear evening sky, so we got a great look at it. I thought for sure it was going to land very close. It appeared not to be too far away. The front was vibrant and looked like, literally, a ball of fire, and there was a tail on the end that appeared green. Once in a lifetime sighting! |
