| Remarks | while I have watch "regular" meteor showers over the years, this was many times brighter and more dramatic than anything I have seen. It lit up the sky quite well. I live in the country and there is not a lot of city light pollution, so the brightness was very noticable. So was the duration of the event, as it lasted far longer than typical meteor showers I've watched, such as the Perseids. |
