Remarks I am certainly not a professional, but I do like to watch the night sky and photograph often. I always look at the moon every night. Last night I was out looking and there were a ton of stars out, my dog was with me, and just prior to seeing it, she was howling at the sky, which is pretty unusual for her, so that is what made me look to that direction. I thought it must have been a falling star...but when I told my husband about it today, he said it was seen all over. It was a sound like I have never heard, did not resemble a firework at all, when we have watched meteor showers have never seen anything as long lasting as this was, I thought it must have burned up before hitting the ground.
