Remarks my first thought was someone shooting fireworks, but just one, no sound. Seemed very VERY close to earth, not up where stars normally are. It was bright, especially since it happened near dusk, was not dark outside yet at all. It was gorgeous!! I did NOT see it "burn out" , it was still same brightness, and traveling the same, when it left my sight on the other side of my roof and beyond the tree tops.
