Remarks | The locality of this phenomenon was close to a beginning waning moon that I was shocked I could see it so well. It was bright enough to generate light consistently for my partner driving in front of me to call, give me a position, and locating where it was. I flinched at how close it got to the moon, which is silly but in all my years of deep dark sky viewing at peak occasions I have never seen anything like it. |
