I was stationary in a vehicle with my mother, who also saw it. We both agreed it was not a normal flying object as it was moving extremely fast and it disappeared about 3 seconds after we saw it.

It happened right before it disappeared. For less than a second, small orange/yellow pieces came off the tail and did not continue to shine after the rest disappeared.
