Name | Thalitha L |
Experience Level | 3/5 |
Remarks | I’ve never seen one so close in the atmosphere. It was very colorful but enormous. The original 3 orange balls of light I saw were remarkably larger, 3-10 times larger depending on which ball of light, than the tower lights or the brightest star. It would be hard to block it out with a quarter held straight out in front of me. |

Persistent train | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Duration | 5s |
Length | - |
Remarks | The train was a sleek needle like bright white thin line behind the object which created the emitting light, it was three times as long as the object which created a missile -like image, a leading “nose” with a point from which two arcs of orangey rainbow light emitted above and below. The train came straight from the nose. Much like a stingray, missile, or torpedo in water. |
Terminal flash | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | I saw the flash or the appearance of three large balls of orange light well before, at least 20 seconds, on the opposite side of the mountain before I created the hill which is what I have reported. The fireballs appeared to be motionless to the right of where my report begins. My report begins with the singular object I saw flying across the sky. The trajectory would place the fireballs on the other side of the ridge toward Dahlonega in the West. |
